Regrettably, this is my last post for this blog. Last week’s ultrasound revealed that there was no heart, no blood flow, and no increase in size. They believe it stopped growing at 6 weeks. No known cause with only a speculation that something didn’t go right between the sperm and the egg on a chromosomal level.
The next step is getting through the miscarriage. Not the most pleasant experience so far, but I still have hope that someday in the near future, another Baby Carney will come along, and we’ll begin this road again.
Until then, keep us in your prayers as we deal with the current challenge. Best wishes to my other pregnant friends. I’ll catch up with you soon enough.
